Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-29
This Privacy Policy describes how MockCourtLab ("we", "us") handles information when you use our mock-trial and trial-advocacy practice platform. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
Account information
When you register, we store your email address and the display name you provide, along with a role assigned to your account. We use this to authenticate you and to display your identity within the app.
Simulation content & in-memory model
MockCourtLab is designed around a privacy-first session model. Matter content — case narratives, juror selections, transcripts, prompts, and notes — is processed in volatile memory for the active session and is not persistently stored on our servers for that content. When a session ends, times out, or is panic-cleared, that in-memory content is destroyed.
Stored records
Certain operational records, such as cases submitted for conflict checks, leads, and attorney time entries, are stored server-side so they can be processed by automated workflows and reviewed by workspace admins. These records are associated with your account and may be deleted when you delete your account.
AI processing
Some features use built-in AI integrations to generate simulations, feedback, and educational blog content. Content you submit may be sent to these services for processing. We do not represent or warrant the data-retention practices of third-party AI providers; verify suitability with the applicable provider before submitting sensitive material.
Analytics & cookies
We may use platform analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not sell your information. Where available, analytics may be disabled for your workspace.
Your rights & account deletion
You can delete your account and the app data associated with it at any time from Profile settings. Deleting your account removes the records you created and signs you out. Certain records may be retained where required by law or legitimate business need.
